Welcome to Men of Faith Battle Groups

"Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong." 1Cor 16:13

About Us

Join us as we connect, walk in accountability, and take on the role of spiritual leader in our homes. We are brothers in arms waging war for our God and our families, fighting to become the men God has called us to be.

Why You Should Join Us

There may have never been a time in history where it is so difficult to establish solid relationships with other men who are walking the same path. While social media makes us feel connected, in truth we have never been more alone.

Here you will find men who are walking out our faith and connecting in this group with these three guiding principles:

1. Unconditional Acceptance - this is not a place for judgment; we know there is enough of that in the world already. Be yourself, be real, and give grace when needed. Everyone is fighting a battle. Be a brother and pick them up.

2. Extreme Vulnerability - this is a place to be honest with yourself and others. While there is no judgment, you will be called on your B.S., so you may as well set it to the side and walk in like the man you are.

3. No-Nonsense Accountability - "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works..." Heb 10:24  If you are a part of this group, we will not let you walk alone. If you tell us you want to change, to move forward, to become more we are there to help make sure you don't stop and don't back down.

Why Is There a Fee?

When we decided to launch this thing as part of the overall 3-year strategy of Life that Counts, we landed on adding a monthly investment for 3 reasons:

1- A fee gives guys an opportunity to invest financially in the work of our organization. Nobody's getting a raise. All of our salaries are set according to the federal grants that we work on. All new revenues will go toward expanding the work and mission.

2- Guys typically don't value what they don't invest or have skin in. In large part, we pay for what we value. You tell what a guy cares about by how he spends his time and his resources.

3- We are interested not in gaining members but in developing covenant relationships. Covenants require sacrifice and follow-through from all parties. This brotherhood; this covenant group, costs us all something that we willingly give to gain something much greater. Some costs can be measured in dollars. Others in time developing the platform, hosting calls, and just making it all work. Then there are mental and emotional expenditures that can not be measured. These are invested by the men in this brotherhood into one another as we walk in accountability together. So yes, there is a necessary investment made from all sides in order to fulfill our covenant and to build relationships that matter.

I Have a Group of Men In My Life, Why Should I Join?

While I believe those natural friend and peer groups are healthy, but unless there are strong leaders and clear direction, I've experienced that those groups can digress into sessions where we're either bragging or complaining.

My hope for this - and what we will create - is a place where men will be accepted "as-is" with no return policy, yet loved enough to be challenged to grow in areas of weakness.

All Fees are Tax Deductible
